The Tumultus NYC is more than just a trumpet – it’s a statement.
Developed in close collaboration with Grammy-winning trumpeter Michael Rodriguez, this model combines the energy of New York with the warm, powerful sound of the Tumultus series.
The large gold brass bell (135 mm) delivers a dark, noble core sound that carries with remarkable presence. The copper main tuning slide opens up the instrument, giving it incredible immediacy of response. Added to this are lightweight nickel-silver bottom caps and an entirely new gap configuration, making the playing feel even more agile and precise.
The result: an instrument that captures Michael Rodriguez’s unmistakable sound – lyrical, radiant, yet full of depth and substance.
